About the Board
The Board of Â鶹Æƽâ°æors (BOV) is the governing body for Â鶹Æƽâ°æ. The Governor of Virginia appoints individuals to serve four-year terms in the service of the university.
The 17 members of the Board of Â鶹Æƽâ°æors gather in Williamsburg several times each year to discuss matters of long-term planning and budget for Â鶹Æƽâ°æ. The Board of Â鶹Æƽâ°æors meets on the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ campus and regularly engages the campus community through its eight committees and the alumni community through participation at annual and special events.
