Professor Dennis Manos is an eminent scholar at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ, who holds an endowed chair as a full professor in both the Physics and Applied Science Departments. He is also the Director of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ's campus-wide Materials Processing Research Program and served as the Director of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ ARC known as the Applied Research Center in Newport News, which operated 27 fully equipped laboratories in a 127,000 sq. ft. building adjacent to the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility. The ARC, currently known as the Applied Research Center Core Labs, has been relocated to various locations on Â鶹Æƽâ°æ's campus.
