Whether you are an 18-year-old undergraduate or a 58-year-old State Department official, WGC is here to help educate for impact.Â
WGC is proud to support a number of student initiatives, including the Congressionally supported National Security Internship Program (NSIP), Innovation for Defense course, Wargaming Lab, and Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Global Innovation Challenge. Explore their pages to learn how to get involved.
WGC offers lectures by high-ranking officials, symposia on critical issues, elite opportunities to participate in national security exercises, and other opportunities that all focus on a Whole of Government approach.
W&M is part of the U.S. Navy's Low-Residency Graduate Education Program (LGEP) and the Community College Consortium. For our formal degree programs, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ is proud to offer GI Bill® educational benefits by the Virginia State Approving Agency.
The university offers several certificates and educational programs geared toward members of the military and public policy professionals, or those interested in working more with our nation's service men and women.
One of our favorite ways to interact with undergraduates is through Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Global Innovation Challenge (WMGIC), as we support their work with NATO and others.
With our partners like the Office of Career Development & Professional Engagement, we facilitate undergraduate and graduate student internship experience with all branches of the military, the intelligence community, and throughout the government, virtually or in-person.
The Wargaming Lab is a student led, crisis simulation focused research group affiliated with the Whole of Government Center of Excellence at the College of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ. At the Wargaming Lab, we create in-depth crisis simulations, wargames, and other strategy-focused research.
In partnership with the Georgian Strategic Analysis Center (GSAC), this dynamic program fuses cutting-edge teaching with real-world experience to build powerful skills in leadership, communication, negotiation, and international relations—preparing students to thrive on the global stage.
Whether with a letter or carrier pigeon, you’ll find our home inside The Hive on the ground floor of Swem Library.
