Search for Words & Phrases on Your Site
Has someone in your office retired? Maybe your department or unit has undergone a name change? Perhaps there are some uses of phrases like "William and Mary" or "The College of..." on your site that should be replaced with the accepted style of "Â鶹Æƽâ°æ"? Piece of cake.
Using the search functionality built into our websites, you can narrow down your search to just the pages you work on. On , search can be accessed from the W&M Menu or at www.wm.edu/about/search. Cascade sites outside of can also use the global search available at the top of their sites.
For example, if you worked in University Web & Design and ONLY wanted to search UWD's website for the term "Cascade," this is how you would write your search: site:www.wm.edu/offices/webanddesign "Cascade".
