Graduate Assistantships
The Division of Student Affairs, along with several other administrative offices on campus, hires a number of graduate students each year to serve as Graduate Assistants (GAs). These assistantships are designed primarily to support students enrolled in the program.
Below is a list of offices that are funded to support Graduate Assistants (only some of these positions represent openings in a given academic year). Select each link for a detailed description of the positions, benefits, selection criteria, etc. All offices with GA vacancies for 2026–27 will interview admitted Higher Education program candidates virtually in February 2027. If positions remain unfilled after this process, applications will be opened to other School of Education students on a space-available basis after May 1. Students who are eligible will be contacted directly.
