The Global Education Office supports global education opportunities abroad and at W&M.
Interested in leading a study abroad program? Three ways to get involved teaching students abroad:
- Annual Faculty-led Summer & Winter Programs
- The Global Education Office (GEO) and the International Studies Advisory Committee (ISAC) solicit applications each year for long-standing study abroad programs.
- The general summer 2027 application deadline was March 27, 2026. The general winter 2026-27 application deadline was December 5, 2025.
- We are currently seeking applications for one Summer 2027 programs with an extended deadline of April 27, 2026.
- Pilot Short-term Study Abroad Programs (Summer or Winter)
- The Winter and Summer 2026-27 RFP proposal deadline was February 2, 2026.
- On-Campus Courses with Embedded International Experience (Winter or Spring Break)
- 2026-27 application deadline was February 2, 2026 (for programs over winter break 2026-27, during spring 2027).

Interested in participating in a program site review?
The Global Education Office (GEO) and the International Studies Advisory Committee (ISAC) review A&S-affiliated faculty-led programs on a rotating basis. Opportunities for faculty to apply to review these programs will be posted here as well as announced in the WM Digest. We are not currently seeking reviewers.
