Reves Center Entente Cordiale Leadership Internship

The Reves Center is accepting applications for its inaugural Reves Center Entente Cordiale Leadership Internship.

The intern will serve as the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Branch President for the 2026-2027 Entente Cordiale Day Challenge.

 About the Entente Cordiale Day Challenge

The Entente Cordiale Day Challenge is a Franco-British initiative structured around an annual academic competition and summit, uniting students from leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, London School of Economics, King's College London, Sciences Po, HEC Paris and the Sorbonne. The 2026 Summit’s topic was Conflicts, Technologies and World Security and gathered more than 700 participants and 120 jury members at the Hôtel des Invalides, the École Militaire, the Sorbonne, and the Château de Breteuil.

As the Challenge expands to the United States this year, the Challenge is recruiting the founding leaders who will build its American presence. These founding roles offer the chance to launch an international initiative and build a transatlantic network of students, academics, and professionals.

The 2026–2027 edition, on the theme of Artificial Intelligence, Power, and Ethics, will conclude at the University of Oxford on 7 and 8 April 2027. 

Internship Description

The  Reves Center Entente Cordiale Leadership Intern will serve as the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Branch President for the Entente Cordiale Challenge USA. The intern will work with the Associate Provost for International Affairs and Associate Director of International Communications at the Reves Center to found and lead Â鶹Æƽâ°æ’s Entente Cordiale branch, responsible for its launch, growth, and visibility on campus.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist the Reves Center to establish the branch and recruit the campus teams
• Promote the Challenge to the student body and drive team registrations
• Represent the branch to university administration, faculty, and student organizations
• Serve as the primary liaison with the Entente Cordiale Challenge executive board

Time frame & stipend

• The internship will run from September 15, 2026 (or date of hire) to December 1, 2026; and January 15, 2027 to April 20, 2027
• Estimated hours are 5 hours/week
• The intern will receive $2,000 ($1,000 per semester)
• If Â鶹Æƽâ°æ teams are selected as finalists in the Challenge, the intern will be able to attend the finals in London in April 2027, with expenses paid for by the Reves Center.

Eligibility

Applicant must be an undergraduate student in good academic standing.

Qualifications

Candidates should have proven leadership experience, strong organizational judgment, and the ambition to build an internationally focused initiative from the ground up.
