Biography
Justin Feira ’27 is an Economics major with a minor in GIS from Arlington, Virginia. He grew up spending much of his time outdoors, hiking, skiing, and exploring new places. These experiences that made nature a central part of his life and shaped his understanding of the importance of environmental protection. As his interests evolved, Justin became increasingly curious about how landscapes change over time and how people interact with natural spaces.
Studying economics and GIS has given him tools to explore these questions more deeply, particularly through working with maps and imagery that reveal long-term environmental patterns. Looking ahead, Justin hopes to pursue a path that keeps him closely connected to the outdoors while contributing to efforts that protect it. Whether through conservation planning, environmental policy, or development work, he aims to help ensure future generations can form the same meaningful connections to nature that have shaped his own.
