Enrique Sánchez-Rivera

Biography
Enrique Sánchez-Rivera is Director of Innovation and Partnerships at Augmented Island Studios, which builds AR/VR, and immersive web experiences for enterprise customers. He leads a team across engineering, design, and content in North America, Latin America, and Europe, and has delivered work for Logitech, Microsoft, Robinson Helicopter Company, Robinson Unmanned, Pepsi, Gore-Tex, Conservation International, and others.
He is completing an executive Master of Public Administration at Cornell University’s Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, concentrating in science and technology policy, with a focus on autonomous mobility and infrastructure. Before Augmented Island Studios, he spent eleven years in institutional finance with Janus Capital Group, Investec Asset Management, and Manchester Capital Management.
Graduating from the W&M full-time MBA program in 2007, he was a founding member of the Mason School of Business Alumni of Color Network. Originally from Cali, Colombia, Enrique maintains a profound connection to Williamsburg and remains actively engaged with W&M. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut and is a graduate of the Yale School of Management’s Global Executive Leadership Program.
