About Brandon

Brandon Hennessey serves as Director of the Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Entrepreneurship Hub, where he leads efforts to educate, inspire, and support students, faculty, staff, alumni, and regional entrepreneurs in developing and applying entrepreneurial skills and mindsets.

In this role, Brandon guides the Hub’s strategy, programs, partnerships, and operations while working to expand access to entrepreneurial learning and create meaningful pathways from engagement to action. His work focuses on helping people spot opportunities, navigate ambiguity, collaborate across disciplines, and apply entrepreneurial thinking to ventures, careers, organizations, and challenges of consequence.

Brandon also serves as an adjunct professor in Â鶹Æƽâ°æ’s Raymond A. Mason School of Business, where he teaches Introduction to Innovation and Entrepreneurship to MBA students. Through both his teaching and his leadership of the Hub, he helps learners connect entrepreneurial concepts with practical action, experimentation, and real-world problem-solving.

Before joining Â鶹Æƽâ°æ, Brandon led entrepreneurship and economic development initiatives for Longwood University’s Office of Community and Economic Development. He also taught finance, management, social entrepreneurship, and citizenship as an adjunct professor.

Brandon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Master of Business Administration from Longwood University. He began his career as a public-school art educator before moving into entrepreneurial support and higher education.

Across these roles, he has focused on helping people turn meaningful ideas into action.
