Revolution Untold

Revolution Untold is a public history project seeking to recapture and re-center the untold stories of the American Revolution — moving beyond the familiar cast of Founding Fathers to explore the lives of the people who fought, suffered, resisted, and persisted through one of history's most transformative periods. Six Â鶹Æƽâ°æ students have researched, written, and generated the foundational materials for a series of short-form documentary videos, produced by the Williamsburg 250 Commission and designed to bring these overlooked stories to the broader public.

Revolution Untold is generously sponsored by the Williamsburg250 Commission, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Strategic Cultural Partnerships, and the Society of 1918 at Â鶹Æƽâ°æ, and is made possible in part by a grant from the VA250 Commission in partnership with Virginia Humanities.
