About Emily

Emily is the founding director of Conflict Resolution & Education, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ’s resource for all things conflict. She leads the CRE student specialist team, who provide trainings, conflict coaching, and mediations across campus, and oversees the ongoing development of campus-wide conflict resources, services, and supports. 

Her conflict resolution experience includes mediating in the California Superior Court system, community restorative justice facilitation with the US Department of Justice, and developing student conflict resolution resources at Pepperdine University. 

Emily has a bachelor’s degree in history and international studies from Northwestern University, and a master’s degree in dispute resolution from the Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution at the Pepperdine University Caruso School of Law. When she’s not resolving conflict, you can find her at the beach, watching college football, and eating cheesy foods.
