Ferguson Blair Publishing Scholarship
The William Cross Ferguson and Harry L. Blair Scholarship in Publishing is an annual scholarship which is awarded to a graduating senior or recent graduate of Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ. To be considered for the scholarship, the successful applicant must have applied for admission to one or more of the national Summer Publishing Institutes – New York University (Summer Publishing Institute), Columbia University (The Columbia Publishing Course), or University of Denver (Denver Publishing Institute). The winner must be accepted into one of these programs by the time the scholarship is awarded.
A first and second place winner will be selected. The scholarship recipients will receive funding paid directly to the school they will attend in the following amounts:
- 1st place recipient will receive full tuition (up to $6,000, not including room and board)
- 2nd place recipient will receive $2,500 towards tuition
Graduating seniors and recent alumni of all majors are welcome to apply. The application will be posted in early spring and is usually due in March. Check out TribeCareers for application requirements, timeframe, and to submit.
