About Suzy

As a graduate of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and a proud parent of a Â鶹Æƽâ°æ student, Suzy’s Tribe pride runs deep!  A Virginia native, Suzy has also lived in Texas, California, and North Carolina.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Â鶹Æƽâ°æ and a Master of Science in Education (Student Development Counseling in Higher Education) from Old Dominion University.  Suzy started her career as a middle school English teacher before moving into several higher education roles including student-athlete academic support, admissions, and career development.  Suzy is a student-advocate who enjoys working with college students in all phases of career planning. She is happy to be a part of the campus community.

Personal Interests

Suzy loves exploring the many museums in and around Williamsburg.  She most enjoys spending time with her husband and son, which often involves lively conversations, listening to various genres of music, and playing games.  She also likes learning about history, traveling, and cheering on the Tribe at sporting events.
