Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the liaison for graduate programs in the Batten School of Coastal and Marine Sciences & VIMS, College of Arts & Sciences, School of Education, and School of Computing, Data Sciences & Physics
- Advise graduate students on career exploration, job search strategies, networking, resumes, interview, and professional development
- Develop and deliver career programs and workshops for graduate students
- Collaborate with campus partners, faculty, and student organizations to support graduate student career success
About Suzy:
A Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ alumna and proud parent of a Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ graduate, Suzy brings a strong connection to the community and a passion for student success. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ and a Master of Science in Education in Student Development Counseling in Higher Education from Old Dominion University.
Before transitioning into higher education, Suzy began her career as a middle school English teacher. Her professional experience includes roles in student-athlete academic support, admissions, and career development. She enjoys supporting students wherever they are in their career journey.
