About Katie

Katie holds a B.A. in Communication Studies from Christopher Newport University and an M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration with a concentration in Student Affairs Practice from the University of Virginia. While at UVA, she served as a Career Counseling Graduate Intern at the UVA Career Center. Katie is committed to empowering students by offering support, fostering meaningful connections, and encouraging academic, professional, and personal growth throughout their higher education journey.  

A Hampton Roads native, Katie grew up just down the road in Newport News. In her free time, she enjoys reading, experimenting with new recipes, and curating music playlists for every mood.
