Kendra A. Cabler, Ph.D.

BA ‘11, M.Ed ‘14 Senior Manager Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Etsy

Dr. Kendra Cabler is a learning and development professional specializing in matters of organizational culture, leadership, diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace. An experienced consultant, facilitator, and educator; she holds a Ph.D. in Adult Learning and Organizational Leadership from Virginia Commonwealth University, an M.Ed. in Educational Policy, Planning, and Leadership and a B.A. in Sociology, both from Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ. Her academic research focuses on the development of cultural competence in higher education professionals and the implications for university communities.

A former higher education professional turned corporate; she's skilled at navigating the complexities of organizational culture and client experience through strategic program development and collaboration across teams to customize programs and initiatives, using organizational development practices and techniques. Dr. Kendra currently serves as the Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at Etsy. She believes authentic connections make space for greater collaboration, productivity, trust, growth, and ultimately awesome outcomes. As someone that often takes some time to warm up and feel out the environment before jumping right in, she understands what a gift connection can be. Kendra works to create environments that allow and encourage everyone to thrive by operating in ways that are authentic and human.
