Costume Designer

Background

Professor Wesp was the resident costume designer in the Department of Theatre, Speech and Dance from 1983 until her retirement in 2022. She served as Department Chair from 1999-2004. She has designed costumes and scenery for Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Theatre, Â鶹Æƽâ°æ Dance, the Duke University Drama Program, Charlotte, NC Rep, The Green Mountain Guild, Street 70, the University of Florida and Michigan State University. She received Port Folio's Production Values award for the Virginia Shakespeare Festival production of Wild Oats. She has been Costume Designer for the Virginia Shakespeare Festival for seventeen seasons.
