Background
Victoria (Vicki) Fink earned her MFA in Dance from Temple University’s Dance Department in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While at Temple, she began teaching as a teaching assistant and received a scholarship to support her thesis concert in 2001.
Vicki earned her BFA in Theater with a minor in Dance from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia, in 1995. She has served as adjunct dance faculty at Temple University (1999–2001), Virginia Commonwealth University (2003–2005), Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ and Old Dominion University (2016–currently).
From 2006 to 2016, Vicki was the lead dance director and teacher for the Center for the Arts Honors Program at Henrico High School in Richmond Va. In addition to teaching, she is involved with Partners in the Arts Projects, funded by Virginia Commission of the Arts, a freelance dancer within NYC, Philadelphia and Richmond, a founding member of Ground Zero Dance Company and currently dances with the Leah Glenn Dance Theatre. Vicki's background includes studies of theater, modern dance, vernacular dance, somatic movement, improvisation, contact improvisation, and multi-media, all of which has helped her in exploring and defining her own artistic voice.
