Many of our alumni have pursued careers in the performing arts after graduation including TV icon Linda Lavin '59, New York City Ballet’s Resident Lighting Designer Mark Stanley ‘78, Oscar-nominated production designer David Crank ‘82, Emmy Award-winning comedian Sara Schaefer ’00, and Tony Award-winning producer Jennifer Issacson ‘06.
The Glenn Close Theatre is Phi Beta Kappa Memorial Hall's mainstage, named after W&M Theatre alumna and eight-time Oscar nominated actress Glenn Close ‘74.
