In the past month, both the University of Bristol and the University of Cambridge in England have announced plans to research their historical links to slavery. But other universities, particularly in the United States, have been doing similar work for years. Among those universities are the College of �鶹�ƽ�� in Virginia and Sewanee: The University of the South in Tennessee.

Honorees from various facets of campus were recognized at Commencement May 11 as annual awards were presented to graduates, staff and faculty members.
