At the September 2011 meeting of the Board of Â鶹Æƽâ°æors, Provost Michael Halleran will recommend to the Board of Â鶹Æƽâ°æors that Kveta (Tuska) Benes be designated Clark G. and Elizabeth H. Diamond Associate Professor of History. Professor Benes specializes in the fields of modern German history and modern European intellectual history. She is the author of In Babel's Shadow: Language, Philology, and Nation in Ninetgeenth-Century Germany.
