Campus Initiatives

There are several faculty-led initiatives across W&M related to gender and sexuality, including

• Boswell Initiative: Promotes innovative, interdisciplinary scholarship on the cultural, economic, political, and policy dimensions of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender life in the United States and in other countries.
• LGBTIQ Project: Part of a larger national effort, this project documents the histories of LGBTIQ people and the policies and laws that have affected their lives.
• : Documenting the stories of the lives of Â鶹Æƽâ°æ GLBTQ alumni, faculty, staff, and students.
