Chancellor Professor and Forrest J. Murden Professor John Oakley has been named the Australian Archaeological Institute in Athens' Â鶹Æƽâ°æing Professor for 2015. This post, which has been held previously by some of the biggest names in ancient Greek Art and Archaeology, involves a six-week tour of the entire Australian continent in August and September, during which Prof. Oakley will deliver twenty-seven lectures along with other presentations, including workshops with Australian students on his specialty of Greek Vase Painting.
