2026 Spring Honors Research Symposium

The Spring Honors Research Symposium celebrates the achievements of seniors completing honors theses.

The Spring Honors Research Symposium, scheduled for April 2-3, 2026, will feature the research of students completing Departmental Honors in a variety of presentation formats. 

All students completing an Honors Thesis who received Summer 2025 funding from the Charles Center are required to present. All other students completing Honors Theses are welcome and encouraged to participate. 

This event is made possible by a generous grant from the College of Arts & Sciences Annual Fund.

Schedule:

Thursday, April 2nd

Barr Prize in Public Speaking Competition:

7:00-8:30 pm - Comey Recital Hall, Music Arts Center

Reception with refreshments to follow. 

Friday, April 3rd

Research Talks:

10:00 am-11:00 am - 375, 381, York, Sadler Center

11:30 am-12:30 pm - 375, 381, York, Sadler Center

1:00 pm-2:00 pm - 257, 375, 381, York, Sadler Center

2:30 pm-3:30 pm - 375, 381, York, Sadler Center

Poster Sessions:

12:00-1:30 pm - Tidewater Room, Sadler Center

2:30-4:00 pm - Tidewater Room, Sadler Center

Light refreshments offered during both poster sessions.
