Area of Specialization

Her research lies at the intersection of extracellular vesicle biology, molecular nutrition, neuroscience, and therapeutic delivery. She investigates dietary and milk-derived extracellular vesicles and their roles in infant nutrition and gut-brain health, as well as their therapeutic potential in neurodegenerative diseases and brain cancer. Her earlier research examined epigenetic regulation, cell migration, and signaling in cancer.
