Professor Giffin earned her Ph.D. in Art History with Distinction from the University of Washington in 2017, specializing in art, space, and ritual objects of the Italian Renaissance. Her recent publication, titled (Routledge, 2025), stems from fieldwork completed during her postdoctoral position at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität, Munich. Dr. Giffin has since received prestigious fellowships at Villa I Tatti in Florence and the Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome. She has taught at Hamilton College and Skidmore College, and currently serves on the Editorial Board of . At Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ, Erin teaches courses on art of the European Renaissance and Baroque.
