Plenary Committee for Jamestown 2007
AIRC staff served on the Plenary Committee for Jamestown 2007 with the Virginia Council on Indians, 2003-2004. Preliminary planning resulted in the basic outline for the 2007 Virginia Indian participation and signature events: the formation of the Virginia Indian Advisory Council, a symposium focused on Native treaties, laws, and policies, and the American Indian Intertribal Cultural Festival.
