Virginia High School Counselor Breakfasts

The High School Counselor Breakfast event offers the opportunity to enjoy a full breakfast and hear from admission deans at Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ and the University of Virginia. The 2025 regional events were held in Roanoke, Fairfax, Prince William, Richmond, and Norfolk. Check back in summer 2026 to register for a Counselor Breakfast and connect with representatives at each university.

Commonwealth Impact Program

The Commonwealth Impact Program is part of our ongoing commitment to partner with high schools to identify talented students who will thrive at Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ.

Through this exciting program, we invite school counselors, advisors, administrators and college access organization supporters to nominate up to 10 academically distinguished seniors for consideration to receive a Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ Scholars Award, which includes a full tuition and fees scholarship.

The best part? No additional student award application is needed from the student (beyond the and financial aid applications).

Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ Leadership Award

Nominate a current junior (Class of 2027) from your high school who is a dynamic leader within your school community. This prestigious award is presented to one student at each high school in Virginia and select high schools across the United States. The nomination process is open.
