Merit Awards for Incoming First-Year Students
In addition to need-based financial aid awards, the Office of Undergraduate Admission confers four merit-based awards: the 1693 Scholars program, the James Monroe Scholars program, Provost Scholar Awards and the Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ Scholars program. All applicants (both Early Decision and Regular Decision) are automatically considered for these merit-based awards. Finalists for these awards are notified in March of their senior year.
Additional scholarships offered by Âé¶¹ÆÆ½â°æ include varsity athletic recruitment scholarships through , and the Sharpe Community Scholars Program for which any enrolling student can apply.
